Le septième groupe des frappes de Vespasien est uniquement fabriqué en l’an 1 et 2 (suivant le groupe 5 daté de l’an 1) il est donc directement lié à la Guerre Juive. Il se caractérise par un aigle avec couronne dans le bec mais sur une massue, avec croissant entre les pattes.
Il fait donc la suite des frappes d’Othon et de la dernière frappe de Galba, celle avec le croissant, Prieur 100A.
Les sigma sont tous traités en C, ce qui est la définition de cette variante.
Dans la base TSP maintenue par Michel Prieur, dix-huit exemplaires sont maintenant répertoriés avec deux exemplaires en musées, à Paris et Oxford.
