Commento

Les colonnes du temple de Salomon furent nommées Jakin à droite et Boaz à gauche par l’architecte Hiram. Boaz était l’arrière-grand-père de David, Jakin était l’assistant du Grand-prêtre qui officia lors de la consécration du Temple. Ces prénoms se traduisent aussi par “en lui la force” pour Boaz et en “Il établira” pour Jakin.
The pillars of Solomon's Temple were named Jachin on the right and Boaz on the left by the architect Hiram. Boaz was David's great-grandfather, and Jachin was the assistant to the High Priest who officiated at the dedication of the Temple. These names also translate as \\\"in him is strength\\\" for Boaz and \\\"He will establish\\\" for Jachin.
