Commento

Type monétaire particulièrement rare dont un exemplaire a été trouvé au XIXe siècle sur la commune de Beaumont-en-Véron (Indre-et-Loire). Comme pour l’exemplaire de Beaumont-en-Véron, ce denier présente trois besants au droit. Le besant toutefois étant placé sur l’exemplaire de Beaumont-en-Véron sous le VS est ici placé sous le LV de CAROLVS.
Particularly rare monetary type, one example of which was found in the 19th century in the commune of Beaumont-en-Véron (Indre-et-Loire). As with the Beaumont-en-Véron example, this denier has three bezants on the obverse. The bezant, however, being placed on the Beaumont-en-Véron example under the VS, is here placed under the LV of CAROLVS
