Cet écu commémore le 40e anniversaire du couronnement à Budapest en 1867. A cause de la révolte hongroise de 1848-1849, le roi ne fut pas sacré immédiatement, mai seulement 18 ans plus tard. 300.000 pièces furent frappées.
This shield commemorates the 40th anniversary of the coronation in Budapest in 1867. Due to the Hungarian Revolt of 1848-1849, the king was not crowned immediately, but only 18 years later. 300,000 coins were minted.
