Poids léger. D’après E. Montenegro, le sextans ainsi que les autres bronzes de cette série, as, semis, quadrans, sextans et once sont de la plus grande rareté et s’intègrent dans un étalon semi-libral de poids romain (livre de 324,72 g) et seraient antérieurs à 211 avant J.-C. Avec ce type d’objet monétiforme on peut indistinctement évoquer un monnayage romano-grec ou gréco-romain.

Montenegro, the sextans as well as the other bronzes in this series, as, semis, quadrans, sextans and ounce are of the greatest rarity and fit into a semi-libral standard of Roman weight (pound of 324.72 g) and would be prior to 211 BC. With this type of monetiform object we can indistinctly evoke a Romano-Greek or Greco-Roman coinage
