Titolatura diritto : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Descrittivo diritto : Deux animaux affrontés (chèvres ou boucs), les pattes avant reposant sur un pilier torsadé au sommet globulaire. Cercle concentrique au bourrelet périphérique et une sorte de grènetis entre deux.

Rovescio

Titolatura rovescio : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Descrittivo rovescio : Deux sangliers dressés face à face autour d'un globule central. Les soies rejoignent un cercle concentrique au bourrelet périphérique avec une sorte de grènetis entre les deux.

Commento

Ce potin est exceptionnel et dans un état de conservation hors du commun. L'exemplaire qui illustre le Nouvel Atlas est une colorisation de photo ancienne en noir et blanc. Ce type avec les quatre annelets au droit correspond à la seconde variante établie par L. Reding dans les Cahiers Numismatques en 1968, p. 579 (dont le tableau est repris pour illustration globale dans le Nouvel Atlas à défaut de monnaies types).
This potin is exceptional and in an extraordinary state of preservation. The copy that illustrates the New Atlas is a colorization of an old black and white photo. This type with the four annulets on the right corresponds to the second variant established by L. Reding in the Cahiers Numismatques in 1968, p. 579 (whose table is used for overall illustration in the New Atlas in the absence of standard coins)
