Sven Palme (1854-1934) a largement contribué au développement de l’assurance étant administrateur délégué du groupe Thule et président de l’Union professionnelle dans la période 1903-1930. Il a également été dans la politique avant de céder le flambeau à son neveu, Olaf Palme, ancien premier ministre de Suède.
Sven Palme (1854-1934) made a significant contribution to the development of insurance, serving as managing director of the Thule Group and president of the Professional Union between 1903 and 1930. He was also involved in politics before handing over the reins to his nephew, Olaf Palme, former Prime Minister of Sweden.

Il XIX secolo è stato caratterizzato in Svezia da una rinascita della medaglia e del gettone. Il più grande incisore del XIX secolo fu Léa Alhborn (1826-1895). Iniziò a incidere nel 1854 e dal 1860 fino alla sua morte fu l'artista svedese più produttiva. Ha inoltre inciso tutte le monete del Regno di Svezia di Carlo XV (1859-1872) e di Oscar II (1872-1907).
