Sur cet exemplaire, la tête de Pégase est stylisée et ressemble à celle d’un griffon. On remarque un thêta sous la tête d’Athéna.

SPAGNA - INDIGETES - EMPORIA / UNTIKESKEN (Provincia di Gerona - Ampurias)

La greca Emporion, la romana Ampurias (Empúries in catalano), oggi San Martin de Ampurias fu fondata intorno al 580 a.C., forse da coloni rodi come Rosas (Rhodè) o focesi come Marsiglia le cui fondazioni sono contemporanee. Era uno dei porti più importanti del Mediterraneo occidentale. Il nome celtiberico di Emporia era Untikesken. Dopo le trasmissioni native, la città ha adottato l'alfabeto latino. La monetazione è tarda, tra Cesare e Augusto. Emporia sembra aver ricevuto il "municipium", durante il viaggio di Augusto nel 27 o 25 aC Per gli autori del RPC, questo diritto potrebbe già esserle stato concesso da Cesare, e solo confermato da Augusto. Un numero elevatissimo di assi fu contromarcato (cfr. RPC. op. cit. p. 106-107).
