Étienne Œhmichen (1884-1955) est un ingénieur et biologiste français, connu comme l'un des pionniers du stroboscope, de l'invention de l'hélicoptère et l’un des précurseurs de la biomécanique.
This is the 18th medal in a series of 100 medals bearing the image of Etienne Oehmichen. Étienne Oehmichen (1884–1955) was a French engineer and biologist, known as one of the pioneers of the stroboscope, the invention of the helicopter, and one of the precursors of biomechanics.
