Commento
Very light weight. This ace poses a dating problem. In the Vecchi sale, it was placed in the anonymous series dated between 157 and 155 BC, struck on an uncial standard (27.06 g). Our example with a weight of 28.44 g seemed too heavy for this reduction. The average weight of the sextantary series is about 40 grams and half that for the uncial series struck fifty years later. Our example must have been struck on a sextantary standard (54.12 g) with a light weight
