Descrittivo rovescio : Cheval androcéphale galopant à droite conduit par un aurige levant la main gauche et tenant les rênes de la droite ; entre les jambes du cheval, hippophore.

Commento

Les auteurs du Nouvel Atlas ont bien distingué les différentes variantes du monnayage namnète, selon le métal et les types de droits et de revers. Avec ce portrait et la croix, ce statère correspond exactement au DT. 2189. Malheureusement, les cordons perlés n'apparaissent pas à la frappe sur cet exemplaire.
The authors of the New Atlas have clearly distinguished the different variants of the Namnet coinage, according to the metal and the types of obverse and reverse. With this portrait and the cross, this stater corresponds exactly to DT. 2189. Unfortunately, the pearl cords do not appear on this copy when struck.
