Denier avec un revers très confus mais un beau revers assez bien centré et bien frappé, mais avec une patine grise et granuleuse, cristallisée

Il semble impossible de rapprocher ce denier d’une autre monnaie publiée.
La légende du droit est partiellement hors flan, mais EBTER(...) ne correspond à aucune des légendes listées dans le Belfort. Quand au revers, ce type avec SI probablement entouré d’une légende circulaire est sans équivalent.

Molte monete merovingie, coniate male, con epigrafia molto scarsa o poco esplicita, non possono essere attribuite ad una particolare zecca. Le monete troppo rare purtroppo hanno lo stesso problema. Le attribuzioni essendo basate su opere spesso antiche, una moneta all'epoca sconosciuta avrà spesso difficoltà ad essere attribuita, a meno che non sia possibile leggere la zecca o trovare il nome della zecca e confrontarla con la sua produzione nelle officine dove coniava monete ....
