Droit identifiable, mais largement défourré alors que le revers a conservé sa pellicule d’argent. Revers complet. Patine rougeâtre au droit et plus irisée au revers, mais toujours assez hétérogène

Commento

Bien que de poids très léger, le fait que cette monnaie soit fourrée nous fait plus penser à un faux d'époque qu'à une obole. Les oboles du groupe de Melle (auquel appartiendrait cette monnaie) sont bractéates, ce qui n'est pas le cas sur cet exemplaire.
Although very light in weight, the fact that this coin is filled makes us think more of a contemporary fake than an obol. The obols of the Melle group (to which this coin would belong) are bracteate, which is not the case on this example
