Denier sur un flan un peu court mais régulier avec un avers centré avec une patine sombre et brillante. Revers complet et de frappe vigoureuse, avec une patine brune et de légères griffures superficielles

Commento

Ce type de revers, pourtant si caractéristique ne semble pas du tout répertorié. L’absence de légende rend l’attribution de ce denier compliquée. L’avers avec une tête radiée correspond plutôt aux régions d’Orléans et de Poitiers, sans plus de précisions.
This type of reverse, although so characteristic, does not seem to be recorded at all. The absence of a legend makes the attribution of this denarius complicated. The obverse with a radiate head corresponds rather to the regions of Orléans and Poitiers, without further details.
