Ces monnaies ont été frappées à Monaco en 1837 et 1838 sur des flans neufs grâce au balancier de Droz racheté à la Monnaie de Paris.

Cronistoria
MONACO - HONORÉ V
(1819-1841)
Honoré V (1778-1841), figlio e successore di Honoré IV, tornò a Monaco nel 1814. Fu nominato pari di Francia da Luigi XVIII. Il principato si trova infatti sotto il protettorato obbligato del Regno di Sardegna. Florestan gli succedette nel 1841.
