Ce jeton est absent de Feuardent. En 1672, Colbert décida l'aliénation des domaines du roi jusqu'à concurrence de 400000 livres de rente pour renflouer les finances royales. La symbolique du corps est donc tout à fait limpide, puisqu’il s’agit de montrer que les domaines royaux (ici le mouton) ici légèrement amputés (prélèvement de la laine) restent sur pieds et n’en souffre guère.
C’est cet exemplaire qui illustre le type dans le Guéant Prieur.
