La médaille présente une tranche irrégulière. Celle-ci semble avoir été limée. Sur la tranche de la médaille originale, une légende est visible en chronogramme, soit le millésime écrit en lettres latines : Vr IVstIs CeDVnt oMnIa fLVXa VInIs.
Cette médaille fait suite à la prise de la ville par Francesco Morosini pour la ville de Venise. La ville de Nauplie sera reconquise en 1715 par les turcs ottomans.

This medal follows the capture of the city by Francesco Morosini for the city of Venice. The city of Nafplio was reconquered in 1715 by the Ottoman Turks
