Descrittivo diritto : Tête barbare, très stylisée à droite, les cheveux hirsutes ; des petits traits horizontaux devant le visage.

Descrittivo rovescio : Annelet entouré d’un T, d’un V pointé et de deux I pointé, posés aux quatre coins ; l’ensemble dans un carré perlé.
Commento
Si la frappe de ces monnaies est à situer au début du VIIIe siècle, en Grande Bretagne, il n’est pas exceptionnel de les retrouver en Gaule. Elles y sont souvent confondues avec les monnaies mérovingiennes en argent.

Se il conio di queste monete è da collocare all'inizio dell'VIII secolo, in Gran Bretagna, non è eccezionale trovarle in Gallia. Spesso vengono confuse con le monete d'argento merovingie (cfr. MONNAIES XIX, n° 503, sceattas c. 680-710, classificate in merovingio denier di Laon). Durante l'VIII secolo, lo stile di questi pezzi è sempre più degenerato, sono spesso in cresta o riempiti. Queste monete scomparvero dalla circolazione nella seconda metà dell'VIII secolo.
