Commento

Bien qu’avec un revers bien représenté, ce sceat a une tête d’un style très inhabituel, vraisemblablement à gauche, avec une très belle épigraphie. S’il est possible de rapprocher cette monnaie du groupe VERNVS, aucun exemplaire ne semble y correspondre exactement (ni dans les collections d’Oxford ou de Cambridge, ni dans l’ouvrage de T. Abramson).
Although with a well-represented reverse, this sceat has a head of a very unusual style, probably to the left, with a very beautiful epigraphy. If it is possible to bring this coin closer to the VERNVS group, no example seems to correspond exactly to it (neither in the collections of Oxford or Cambridge, nor in the work of T. Abramson)
