Commento
Cet exemplaire est probablement un des plus beaux connu pour ce type rare et souvent mal frappé. Le traitement des lauriers et de la chevelure n'est pas sans rappeler certains statères du Sud-ouest, du groupe de Pons / Sainte-Eanne ou Post Sainte-Eanne, par exemple. La drachme DT.3632A était inédite lors de sa parution et ce type reste particulièrement rare. Ce type de revers correspond au poinçon d'une imitation d'Emporion publié par J.-C. Bedel dans les Cahiers Numismatiques n° 227 de mars 2021.
This example is probably one of the finest known for this rare and often poorly struck type. The treatment of the laurels and the hair is reminiscent of certain staters from the South-West, from the Pons / Sainte-Eanne or Post Sainte-Eanne group, for example. The DT.3632A drachma was unpublished when it was published and this type remains particularly rare. This type of reverse corresponds to the hallmark of an imitation of Emporion published by J.-C. Gran parte della monetazione del Centro-Ovest pone ancora oggi delicati problemi di restituzione. Alle attribuzioni fini, a volte molto dettagliate, dei due secoli precedenti (XIX e XX secolo), gli storici della Gallia, in vista della globalizzazione, preferiscono riferirsi a grandi gruppi geografici. La cosa più importante oggi non è che siamo in possesso dell'oggetto archeologico stesso? Tuttavia se, in futuro, l'atteggiamento degli scopritori di monete, scoperte fortuite o no, ufficiali o no, alleato alla benevolenza dei nostri archeologi a volte sospettosi, potrebbe permetterci, grazie ad una stretta collaborazione (collaborare, lavorare insieme in latino ) e l'ampiezza delle rispettive competenze, per avere una migliore conoscenza dei luoghi delle scoperte, potremmo vedere scomparire gradualmente tutte queste attribuzioni "incerto questo, incerto quello" per il massimo piacere di ciascuno e la conoscenza di tutti.
