Après l’Autriche, les Pays-Bas et le Portugal, la France émet pour la première fois une pièce de 5 Euro argent circulante. Cette 5 Euro a cours légal mais uniquement en France. Cette pièce dont le thème est “La Semeuse” fait partie d’une série de 8 pièces de circulation en métaux précieux or et argent. Pour 2008 sont prévues les pièces de 5 et 15 Euro argent et 100 Euro or. En 2009 paraîtront les 10 et 25 Euro argent et la 250 Euro or. Pour finir en 2010 seront émis les pièces de 50 Euro argent et 500 Euro or.

This coin, whose theme is \\\"The Sower,\\\" is part of a series of 8 circulation coins made of precious metals, gold and silver.
