Commento

Ce type semble bien un dupondius, car il est trop lourd pour être un as. Seul le métal (bronze ou cuivre) permettait dans l’Antiquité de distinguer les deux métaux en fonction de leur couleur, jaune pour le premier, rouge pour le second. Mais au cours du IIe siècle, le prix du bronze augmentant, souvent, il devient difficile de distinguer les deux types.
