Avec son argenture. Sur les trois exemplaires photographiés dans l’ouvrage de Bastien et sur notre exemplaire, nous remarquons que l’épaulière du buste n’est pas cuirassée et ornée des ptéryges, mais d’une épaulière décorée et festonnée qui rappelle certains bustes casqués. Malgré la rareté du buste, nous n’avons relevé aucune liaison de coin pertinente pour le droit. Au revers, nous remarquons un début de cassure de coin perceptible au niveau du C de SECVRIT. De même, à l’exergue, nous décelons un début de cassure de coin entre la lettre d’officine, A et le dernier P de PERP. Même coin de revers que l’exemplaire du Kunsthistorisches Museum de Vienne, collection Voetter n° 67.217, Bastien n° 348a, pl. XXV. C’est le dixième exemplaire recensé. Prendra le numéro 347d dans le Supplément III du Bastien.
With its silver plating. On the three examples photographed in Bastien's work and on our example, we note that the shoulder guard of the bust is not armored and decorated with pteryges, but with a decorated and scalloped shoulder guard reminiscent of certain helmeted busts. Despite the rarity of the bust, we have not noted any relevant die bond for the obverse. On the reverse, we notice the beginning of a die break perceptible at the level of the C of SECVRIT. Similarly, on the exergue, we detect the beginning of a die break between the officina letter, A and the last P of PERP. Same reverse die as the example of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Voetter collection no. 67.217, Bastien no. 348a, pl. XXV. This is the tenth example recorded.
