COMORES - GRANDE COMORE - SAID ALI IBN SAID AMR

(1885-1909)

L'occupazione delle Comore iniziò nel 1841 a Mayotte, che il re Andriotsoly del Madagascar vendette alla Francia nel 1843. Le altre tre isole (Anjouan, Mohéli e Grande Comore) appartenevano al sultano Said Ali. Le Comore sono poste sotto il protettorato francese tra il 1886 e il 1912. Diventate colonie nel 1912, le Comore dipendono dal Madagascar fino al 1946.
