Commento
Deux exemplaires seulement semblent signalés : un à Oxford (Ashmolean Museum, Heberden Coin Room) et le second au Cabinet des médailles de la BnF (BN/R 191, pl. 26). Cette pièce qui manquait au Cohen et à la première édition du RIC fut publiée pour la première fois par G. Elmer (NZ. 1934, p. 27). Cette pièce est certainement l’une des mieux datées du monnayage romain puisque elle aurait été frappée entre le 1er janvier et le 4 ou le 6 janvier 42 avant que Claude ne reçoive le titre de Pater Patriæ entre le 6 et le 12 janvier 42.
