Commento
The cadent houses, in astrology, are the houses that follow the succeeding houses. It has been considered that the cadent houses III, VI, IX and XII were unlucky, especially VI and XII, but this opinion is no longer unanimous. The representation is probably a royal horoscope. From 1570, King Charles IX emancipated himself from the guardianship of his mother Catherine de Medici. In August 1570 he attempted a final rapprochement with the Protestants by signing the Edict of Saint-Germain, which ended the Third War of Religion, thus reviving the policy of tolerance of Michel de L'Hospital. He married that same year Elizabeth of Austria, daughter of Maximilian II, Holy Roman Emperor
