Commento

Seuls deux exemplaires de ce rare bronze sont conservés à la BN (4296-4297), ainsi que deux autres au musée de Lyon (659-660). Bien que proposé aux Bituriges dans Monnaies XV, ce bronze serait plutôt a réattribuer au Poitou (cf. MONNAIES XV, n° 428).
Sur cet exemplaire, le demi-cercle pointé au-dessus du cheval ressemble plutôt à une sorte de torque.
Only two examples of this rare bronze are preserved at the National Library (4296-4297), as well as two others at the Lyon Museum (659-660). Although proposed to the Bituriges in Coins XV, this bronze should rather be reattributed to Poitou (cf. Coins XV, no. 428). On this example, the pointed semicircle above the horse looks more like a sort of torque
