Commento
Ce type de droit est très proche de ceux des potins dits "aux chevrons" dont l'attribution oscille entre les Bellovaques et les Aulerques Éburovices.
Contrairement aux suppositions faites dans MONNAIES XV, ce potin est présent dans le catalogue de la BN, par Muret et Chabouillet. Mieux connue depuis l’étude qui en a été réalisée dans le CN n° 154, cette série proviendrait du Loir-et-Cher.

L'attribuzione tradizionale attribuisce questo mal noto pettegolezzo ai Bituriges Cubes mentre è possibile un'attribuzione ai Carnutes per quanto riguarda i luoghi dei ritrovamenti. Se la testa ricorda monete note, a volte di lontana ispirazione (bellovaque o éburovices), il rovescio rimane enigmatico. Si tratta sicuramente di una monetazione locale, di "Pagus" come diciamo nel nostro gergo celtico, Simone Scheers arrivando ad evocare una monetazione di confine ai confini dei paesi Bituriges e Carnutes. Dopo la fine della guerra, quando la Gallia fu totalmente conquistata, apparvero molte monete sostitutive, di "necessità", per sostituire o integrare la circolazione monetaria..
