L’opération Bragation est une offensive soviétique qui, du 22 juin au 19 août 1944, défait et détruit le groupe d’armées centre allemand. Cette opération libère la Biélorussie et ouvre à l’Armée Rouge la route de la Pologne et de Berlin.
Constantin Rokossovski est victime des grandes purges en 1937. Joukov le fera sortir de prison en 1940.
