Charles Adolphe Bachofen de Echt né le 12 Mars 1830 à OELS en Westphalie, décédé le 22 Mai 1922 à Vienne en Autriche où il était propriétaire d’une brasserie à Nussdorf (à côté de Vienne).

AUSTRIA - FRANCESCO GIUSEPPE I
(2/12/1848-21/11/1916)
François-Joseph I (18/081830-21/11/1916) è figlio dell'arciduca Francesco Carlo e di Sofia di Baviera. Successe allo zio Ferdinando I d'Austria nel 1848 nel bel mezzo della rivoluzione europea. Il suo trono oscilla in Ungheria, Boemia, Milano e Venezia. È con autorità che ristabilisce l'ordine e regnerà sulla "Mitteleuropa" per 68 anni. Nel 1854 sposò Elisabetta di Baviera (1837-1898), meglio conosciuta come Sissi. Il loro unico figlio Rodolphe (1858-1890) si suicidò con la sua amante nel 1890 a Mayerling. L'imperatrice Sissi fu assassinata a Ginevra nel 1898. Suo nipote François-Ferdinand fu assassinato con la moglie a Sarajevo il 28 giugno 1914, scatenando la prima guerra mondiale. Il vecchio imperatore morì nel 1916 prima della divisione del suo impero due anni dopo.
