Monnaie sur un flan très mince et irrégulier mais assez large. Droit bien identifiable, mais revers très très mou, avec la croix et la légende à peine visible. Patine verte, hétérogène et brillante

Commento

Ce type de bronze semble provenir d’Indre-et-Loire. La tête est d’un style très particulier, proche de celui du triens B. 5567 (= P. 415) classé à la région tourangelle.
Cette série de bronze semble assez variée, avec des influences de certains triens, mais sans équivalent connu en or (?).

Cet exemplaire avec une belle tête à gauche a la légende de droit incomplète, avec seulement la fin (...)VICO FIT.
La croix du revers est ancrée, mais d’une façon si discrète qu’il pourrait s’agir d’un petit epsilon collé à la croix (?).
This type of bronze seems to come from Indre-et-Loire. The head is of a very particular style, close to that of triens B. 5567 (= P. 415) classified in the Tours region. This series of bronze seems quite varied, with influences from certain triens, but without a known equivalent in gold (?). This example with a beautiful head to the left has the incomplete legend on the right, with only the end (...)VICO FIT. The cross on the reverse is anchored, but in such a discreet way that it could be a small epsilon stuck to the cross (?)
