Médaille dans sa boite bleue de la Monnaie de Paris

Jean Baptiste Oudry 1686-1755 est un peintre français, élève de Nicolas de Largillierre. D’abord portraitiste il se fait un nom dans les natures mortes et représentation de chasse. On note notamment Le canard blanc d’Oudry oeuvre exposé au salon de 1753 mais volé en 1992. .
Medal in its blue box from the Paris Mint Jean Baptiste Oudry (1686-1755) was a French painter, a pupil of Nicolas de Largillierre. Initially a portraitist, he made a name for himself with still lifes and hunting depictions. Of particular note is Oudry's The White Duck, a work exhibited at the Salon of 1753 but stolen in 1992.
