Commento

L’exemplaire BN 4628 du LA TOUR, celui de Lyon n°368 ou encore celui du British Muséum ont tous une tranche irrégulière, jusqu’à avoir de gros manques. Ces imperfections semblent être caractéristiques de ce potin, peut-être en raison de la technique de fabrication ou du métal utilisé.
The LA TOUR copy BN 4628, the Lyon copy no. 368, and the British Museum copy all have irregular edges, to the point of having large gaps. These imperfections seem to be characteristic of this potin, perhaps due to the manufacturing technique or the metal used.
