Exemplaire sur un flan large parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait, bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers à l’usure superficielle finement détaillé

Commento

Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Diadème perlé avec un bijou en cabochon, rond et perlé. Fibule à cabochon rond pour tenir le paludamentum. Ptéryges invisibles sous le paludamentum. Début de cassure de coin perceptible au revers sur le grènetis au niveau du TOR de RESTITVTOR. Georges Depeyrot a recensé douze exemplaires pour ce type et cette officine dont neuf exemplaires dans les musées. Nous n’avons pas relevé d’identité de coin pertinente pour ce type.
Type 3 ribbons with rounded ends. Pearl diadem with a round, pearled cabochon jewel. Fibula with a round cabochon to hold the paludamentum. Pteryges invisible under the paludamentum. Beginning of die breakage visible on the reverse on the beading at the level of the TOR of RESTITVTOR. Georges Depeyrot identified twelve examples for this type and this workshop, including nine examples in museums. We have not noted any relevant die identity for this type
