Ce monnayage, beaucoup plus abondant pour Titus que pour Vespasien semble avoir été frappé entre 71 et 73. La fabrication semble s’interrompre après cette date, remplacé par un monnayage au nom d’Agrippa. Les auteurs du Roman Provincial Coinage ont recensé 38 exemplaires avec un poids moyen de 8,04 g. C’est la première fois que nous proposons ce type à la vente.
This coinage, much more abundant for Titus than for Vespasian, seems to have been struck between 71 and 73. Manufacturing seems to have stopped after this date, replaced by a coinage in the name of Agrippa. The authors of the Roman Provincial Coinage have identified 38 examples with an average weight of 8.04 g. This is the first time we offer this type for sale
