Commento
Ce bronze frappé sur flan large est encore mieux centré que le précédent. Le filet est complet au droit. Le revers présente un annelet au-dessus de l’oreille du cheval et un autre sous sa jambe arrière, ainsi qu’une petite esse devant sa tête. Contrairement au précédent, il n’y a pas de point sous l’astre au-dessous du cheval.

I Suession erano un importante popolo dei Belgi, confinato sull'Aisne nel territorio della provincia di Soissonnais. Avevano per vicini i Remi, i Lingones, i Senones, i Parisii, i Bellovaci e gli Ambiens.. Secondo Cesare, i due popoli Remes e Suessions, prima delle guerre galliche, avevano le stesse leggi e gli stessi capi. Avevano per clienti i Meldes, i Silvanectes ei Viromanduens. Diviciacos, uno dei loro re, avrebbe regnato fino alla Bretagna. Galba, il suo successore, comandò la coalizione dei belgi ribelli nel 57 a.C. -VS. con un contingente di cinquantamila uomini. I Suession ei loro alleati Bellovaci furono sconfitti. Galba dovette consegnare i suoi due figli come ostaggi ai romani. Fornirono un contingente di cinquemila uomini per l'esercito di soccorso nel 52 a.C. -VS. Furono posti sotto l'autorità dei Remes dopo questa data. Nel 51 a.C. -VS. , i membri della coalizione belga dovevano prima attaccare i Suessions. Governati da Corréos e Commios, i popoli belgi furono infine schiacciati dai romani. Il loro oppidum principale era Noviodunum (Soissons). Cesare (BG. II, 3, 4, 12, 13; VI, 35; VII, 75; VIII, 6). Kruta: 69.
