Très beau potin complet avec une très belle tête dont le cou se confond avec le penon de coulée. Revers complet en hauts reliefs mais avec une patine légèrement granuleuse avec d'infimes restes de concrétions

Commento

Un seul exemplaire de ce rare potin était conservé à la BN. Dans la récente publication d'A. Bodson et A. De Backer, sont recensés les onze exemplaires connus (cf. BCEN n° 41). L'exemplaire proposé ici est du type à la tête casquée avec les volutes dans le sens habituel (3 exemplaires répertoriés).
Only one example of this rare potin was kept at the BN. In the recent publication by A. Bodson and A. De Backer, the eleven known examples are listed (cf. BCEN n° 41). The example offered here is of the type with the helmeted head with the volutes in the usual direction (3 examples listed)
