Commento

Les Suédois participèrent à la réunion de 1867 qui se tint à Paris. L'ordonnance du 31 juillet 1868 prescrivit la fabrication de pièces 10 francs or alignées sur le système de l'Union Latine, nommées Carolin en l'honneur du roi de Suède, Charles XV. Ces pièces furent frappées entre 1869 et 1872 et furent démonétisées par la loi du 30 mai 1873. La Suède rejoignit alors l'Union monétaire scandinave, abandonnant l'Union Latine..
The Swedes participated in the 1867 meeting held in Paris. The ordinance of July 31, 1868, prescribed the production of 10-franc gold coins aligned with the Latin Union system, named Carolin in honor of the Swedish king, Charles XV. These coins were minted between 1869 and 1872 and were demonetized by the law of May 30, 1873. Sweden then joined the Scandinavian Monetary Union, abandoning the Latin Union.
