Descrittivo diritto : Tête à droite, les cheveux divisés en grosses mèches stylisées ramenées en avant et bouletées aux extrémités.

Titolatura rovescio : [YLL]YCCI.
Descrittivo rovescio : Oiseau à gauche ; derrière, un pentagramme et une croisette bouletée, accostée de quatre globules ; derrière deux annelets centrés.
Commento
Sur cet exemplaire, on semble lire SIINV et non pas YLLYCCI. D’après les conclusions du RIG. op. cit., p. 488, il faut certainement restituer la lecture INVC. D. Allen signale que deux exemplaires trouvés à Villeneuve-Saint-Germain présentent la particularité d’avoir une légende très proche du type SIINV (LT. 7552). En fait, les symboles du revers, en particulier la croisette bouletée accostée de quatre globules permet de restituer cet exemplaire à la classe 4.

GALLIA SENONES (Regione di Sens)
(II - I secolo a.C.)
I Sénon, il cui nome significa i saggi o gli anziani, controllavano un vasto territorio che si estendeva tra il sud della Champagne e il nord della Borgogna. Il loro oppidum principale era Agedincum (Sens) che conserva ancora oggi il nome dell'antica civitas. Avevano molti altri oppida come Auxerre, Tonnerre o Avallon. Divona sembra essere stato il principale santuario dei Senoni. Cesare aveva svernato sei delle sue legioni nel 53 a.C. ad Agedincum. Labieno, luogotenente e legato di Cesare, venne a stabilirsi nella regione di Sens tra Gergovie e Alesia per controllare le strade e proteggere le armate di Cesare da un attacco dei Belgi o dei Germani.
