Commento

Ce jeton est le dernier avatar du coin de 1724 qui sera remplacé, c’est logique si l’on suit la datation des bustes, par un nouveau coin en 1731. En effet, le buste 550H est daté de 1731 : quand on voit l’état du coin de revers en 1731, un nouveau coin s’imposait.
En 1680, le Mercure Galant donnait l'explication suivante de ce revers: "Cela fait voit que, comme les abeilles s'attachent toujours à suivre leur roy, les secrétaires de Sa Majesté sont prests en tout temps de recevoir les ordres de ce grand prince, qui est, en quelque façon, le chef de leur compagnie" (Mercure Galant, mars 1680).
This token is the last avatar of the 1724 die which will be replaced, it is logical if we follow the dating of the busts, by a new die in 1731. Indeed, the bust 550H is dated 1731: when we see the state of the reverse die in 1731, a new die was necessary.
