Commento

This rare type of billon, considered an original type close to BN. 3844, is attributed in the New Atlas to the coins of the Arverne periphery, with uncertain attribution. The rare find sites reported are located to the west of the Massif Central. There are silver coins (DT. 3610) and others in bronze (DT. 3610A). It is more likely to think that it is a billon, more or less white and more or less well preserved! This example clearly has a triskelion above the horse and seems to have a scroll between the legs, and not a snake as indicated in the description of DT. 3610A
