SAINT-EMPIRE ROMAIN GERMANIQUE - CHARLES IV DE LUXEMBOURG ROI DES ROMAINS

(1347-1355)

Carlo IV (1319-1378), figlio di Giovanni II il Cieco ucciso nella battaglia di Crécy (1346), è Re di Boemia e Conte di Lussemburgo (1346-1378), Re dei Romani (1347/1355) al morte di Ludovico IV di Baviera e imperatore del Sacro Romano Impero (1355-1378). È il genero di Charles de Valois perché sposò Blanche de Valois (+1348), cognato di Philippe VI de Valois e del futuro Jean II le Bon da sua sorella Judith (+1349) . È lo zio di Carlo V. Si sposò quattro volte e suo figlio, Venceslao IV (1361-1419), gli succedette nel 1378.
