Michel Ier le brave (Mihai Viteazul en roumain) est un prince de Valachie. De 1593 à 1600, il chassa les turcs et réussit à unifier Valachie, Moldavie et Transylvanie. Il sera assassiné par le général impérial Giorgio Basta.

Michael I the Brave (Mihai Viteazul in Romanian) was a prince of Wallachia. From 1593 to 1600, he drove out the Turks and succeeded in unifying Wallachia, Moldavia, and Transylvania.
