Rouen ha colpito diversi tipi di denari con una rosa sul rovescio e presentando una testa di profilo sul rovescio o una A sormontata da una croce. Gli esemplari con la rosa e la testa facciale sembrano essere stati colpiti nella regione di Rouen. Questi tre tipi si trovano nel tesoro di Plassac (Gironda) nascosto intorno al 710-730.
