Joaquim du Bellay (1522-1560) est un poète angevin membre fondateur de la pléiade en compagnie de Ronsard notamment.

Le graveur Jacques Devigne d’abord élève de Dropsy à l’Ecole Nationale des Beaux Art, obtient le prix de Rome en 1954, il sera l’auteur de nombreuse médaille de la Monnaie de Paris .
