ROMANO IV DIOGENES
(1/01/1068-19/08/1071)
Morendo il 21 maggio 1067, Costantino X Ducas lasciò una moglie, Eudocia, e tre figli, Michele VII, Costanza e Andronico. Eudocia fu reggente dalla fine di maggio alla fine di dicembre 1067 e sposò Romano IV il 1° gennaio 1068. Sfortunatamente, l'imperatore fu fatto prigioniero mentre combatteva contro i Turchi nel 1071. Eudocia fu nuovamente reggente per quattro mesi prima di andare in esilio . Michele regnò da solo fino al 1078.
