Commento

Frappé sur un tout petit flan épais, ce triens correspond au B. 3675 de la coll. Rousseau. Dans ses travaux sur les monnayages mérovingiens armoricains, B. Leroy recense un triens du même type sous le n° 126 (classé en Phase IIa et daté de c. 590-610) ; ce dernier provient de la vente Furstenberg, 14 décembre 1932, lot n° 1047 et est maintenant conservé en collection privée.
Le Moneta ne recense que ces deux triens pour ce monétaire, en les attribuant à Saint-Même-le-Tenu (Loire-Atlantique).
Struck on a very small, thick flan, this triens corresponds to B. 3675 from the Rousseau collection. In his work on Armorican Merovingian coinage, B. Leroy lists a triens of the same type under no. 126 (classified in Phase IIa and dated c. 590-610); the latter comes from the Furstenberg sale, 14 December 1932, lot no. 1047 and is now held in a private collection. The Moneta only lists these two triens for this coin, attributing them to Saint-Même-le-Tenu (Loire-Atlantique)
