José Hipólito Unanue y Pavón (1755-1833) est un médecin, naturaliste, professeur et politicien péruvien. Il fut l’un des signataires de la déclaration d’indépendance. Plusieurs fois ministre, président de la Junte et député, il est considéré comme l’un des pères de la nation.
José Hipólito Unanue y Pavón (1755-1833) was a Peruvian physician, naturalist, professor, and politician. He was one of the signatories of the Declaration of Independence. A minister, president of the Junta, and deputy several times, he is considered one of the fathers of the nation.
