L’exemplaire vendu dans MONNAIES 34 nous semblait être inédit, mais plusieurs collectionneurs spécialisés nous ont confirmé l’attribution aux Nédènes. Ce type précis proviendrait des environs d'Ensérune et de Montlaures.

Questo piccolo popolo non è citato né da Tolomeo né da Strabone più che da Cesare. Doveva appartenere al gruppo più generale dei Longostaletes, nella regione tra Narbonne e Béziers. Sono i recenti scavi, effettuati negli ultimi trent'anni, che hanno permesso di restituire all'oppida di Montlaurès ed Ensérune l'importanza che avevano acquisito tra la creazione della provincia di Narbonnaise, nel 118 a.C., e fine delle guerre galliche.
