Il est tentant d’attribuer ce genre de denier à Marseille, mais l’attribution n’est pas certaine. Il est intéressant de noter les similitudes avec d’autres deniers d’une typologie assez proche et qui sont plutôt attribués à Melle (Deux-Sèvres) et à sa région.
